Ice Station Cool or what ever it is called in Epcot serves a bunch of strange sodas from around the world in tiny cups. Seeing as we write DisneyWithDiabetes.com, we get asked. "Hey how many carbs are those things?"
Didn’t have a clue we figured it was like any generic soda and guessed at it. So I wrote the good people at Coke and this is what they said:
"We show nine Coca-Cola products available at Epcot. Below are the carbohydrate information:
Product Carb amount (per 100ml 3.4 oz)
Kinley Lemon 13g
Krest Ginger Ale 9g
Fanta Kolita 14g
Lychee Mello 15g
Lift Apple 11g
Mezzo Mix 11g

Vegitabeta 10g
That Vegitabeta stuff is brutal! If you can slug back 10 carbs worth you are tougher than nails and the USMC is looking for you.

Thanks for the carb counts - hope you add them to "Disney with Diabetes" so I remember where to find them for our trip in December!!
ReplyDeleteYeah I sent them to Deb to post with some other updates. But I was reading her blog and she is off on some way cool adventure in the south west so it may be a while.
ReplyDeleteBTW she mentions in that blog she is T1 and that was an issue finding sports drinks for the adventure. I think she needs to copy that post over to Disney With Diabetes too.

ReplyDeleteI at best art directed, by daughter made it. I said I want the castle made out of diabetes stuff and he ran with it. We had T shirts at FFL. We may make the shirts available as a JDRF walk funds raiser.
I will probably buy some if you make them available as a fundraiser - they are quite neat!
